Reggie Chastine Dec. 14, 1957 - Aug. 17, 1976 I will always remember Reggie, both as a person and a basketball player. His most memorable thing in athletics was that he gave up something to play his role. George Fox A kid who grew as much as an individual in the three years I was associated with him. Pat Holland. He was my best Friend, a good friend for a long time. It was a great loss for me. He basically got myself together for me, in basketball and life, because he knew so much. He was such an outstanding person, anyone could talk to him. Regie was a smart person. Earvin Johnson Maurice didn't have an enemy in the world. He was the most liked and likeable person in the whole school. Paul Powers. He was real good friend. He wouldn'd do a mean thing to ya. You just couldn't say enough about him. Charles Hinton. Vikings Land Three On All-Metro Bob Mims- I'm really happy I made it. There were a lot of tough backs in the area. Eric Staab- It's an honor for me to be selected for All Conference. Ken Sailor- I'm happy Mr. Powers-'Thc true honor of being about being recognized recognized as Coach of die Year as All Conference. I've goes to the team. never received such an award. Viking JV's Have Very Productive Season The Everett J.V. Football team turned in a stellar performance this year by posting a 5-2-1 record. A very narrow defeat at the hands of Warren Tower and a tie at Holt, prevented the team from posting an outstanding record. Notably the team was spearheaded by a strong defensive unit which was very stingy when it came to letting the opposition into our endzone. This was a fine unit which will be a tremendous addition to our Varsity. Their season record was zero wins and eight losses. The girls took sixth in the CAC meet. The winner for the Most Valuable Player was Christal Gearhart, Caryn Trapp won the Most Improved, and there was a tie for Most Dedicated Player, they were Janet Christian and Cathy Jo Taylor. i ) ) l ) i 7b
