Write things down in whatever journal you prefer, but keep it simple.

I use the old-school Ivy Lea method, writing down my six tasks for the day and then number them in order of priority.

This method was documented as early as 1918, when Charles M. Schwab wanted to increase his company’s efficiency and hired a consultant to help him.

Enter Ivy Lee, who changed the entire office productivity by utilizing the simple six task list in order of priority. Move items over that don’t get finished from the previous day. It’s simple and it works.
