To save our language and groom our culture there is a necessity of an academy. If a language gets a academic status then it is obvious that it has got a nod from the government. Today our beary language has got an academic status from the Karnataka Government. In the interest to save the beary language culture and to attract fellow beary’ s to understand their rich culture the academy will play a pivotal role.There is a close relation between education and literature so this academy can also create an awareness of education. In Karnataka other languages which has got this status from the government are tulu, konkani, kodava and also urdu and now we should also be proud that beary language has also got this recognition which we should be proud of. In the olden days there was a rich collection of beary literature and art and except dhaff all auspicious ceremonies like marriage, festival and cultural events had an essence of folk dance, folk songs in which all members of the family use to participate irrespective of gender and age to our dismay all this us under distinction and out of recognition. Main motive of our academy is to reckon our rich culture and heritage. Today there are many emerging young talents in our community and to cultivate and motivate them beary academy will strive to its best. There is a saying to destroy a community you have to destroy their culture and language. The academy by creating a awareness of beary culture language and literature will accomplish its goal in overall development of beary language to build a healthy society every beary has to contribute and work hand in hand to reach our goal. |
