Version
2.2.0
Operating system type + version
Windows 10 64 bit
3D printer brand / version + firmware version (if known)
Prusa MK3s / MK2.5 / MK2.0 firmware independent
Behavior
This issue was not present in older gcode, so has been introduced in last few months at an unknown time.
Create a 3D object such as a rectangular box, with a flat top surface.
Add Text or a shape on top of the box
When slicing the upper object is "cut" into the lower object even if a height modifier is set to force 100% infill, the 100% infill is ignored and a patterned infill from the centre of the box is "cut" through the 100% top surface of the box.
This causes the printer to print around the cut in multiple stripes and causes very poor quality top surface of the box
Project File (.3MF) where problem occurs
Included is an example object created in Fusion 360.
It is a rectangle with Text on top.
The text cuts into the top surface of the box and ignores the 100% infill modifier set to force a solid top layer on the box
The fault even occurs if the entire object is set to 100% infill, the text is cut into the top surface of the box and causes the printer to make many passes and results in poor surface quality and heavy banding.
