Ticking time bomb? Cancer lawsuits mount for Monsanto over glyphosate

A California jury has awarded two billion dollars to a cancer-stricken couple that used Roundup extensively. It's the third major ruling in a row against Roundup's maker Monsanto. With dozens of other lawsuits slated, what next for its new parent company, German agro-chemical giant Bayer? Europe's just given glyphosate a five-year extension. Its regulators contradict the World Health Organization's findings and have so far refused to certify the link between Roundup and cancer.
