Vintage Cars in Stresa

Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April the Lago Maggiore will be the setting for a new Piemonte Club Veteran Car meeting, one of the most important Turin partnerships that owns over a thousand registered residents both in Turin and in other localities of the Province and in the Piemonte Region and brings together fans of all vintage vehicles and historical collectibles.

Sunday 15 April at 9.30 am the Club will enter the Villa Pallavicino Park in Stresa: 35 ASI homologated cars will reach the evocative square of Villa Pallavicino, one of the most open and celebrated panoramas of the whole Lake Maggiore area.

The exhibition of vintage cars, which will remain until h. 12.00, is therefore a new pretext to visit the large park: about 18 hectares of open meadows, shady avenues and squares where roses, oleanders, magnolias, daffodils, azaleas, rhododendrons that combine perfectly with the woodland, reserve of monumental ancient trees .

Villa Pallavicino is also a wildlife park with about 50 species of animals from all over the world, is the main attraction of the park: fallow deer, saltash goats, llamas, zebras, Bennet kangaroos, exotic birds peacocks and many others that animate this true and own natural balcony on Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains.

Parco Pallavicino offers its visitors a café, a playground and several picnic areas.

Opening: until September 30th 2018 from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm (last admission closing at 7 pm), from October 1st to November 4th from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm (last admission closing at 6 pm).

Admission fee: 9.5 euros per adult, 6.50 euros for children (aged 6 to 15).
