TAKA Dog Walk

I hired Beatrice and team to take my puppy out for 40min to 1hr walks 2-4x per week and I'm happy to say they offer excellent service. The gang is reliable and truly care about my pet. My puppy used to be a lot more shy and timid but after going for walks with TAKA for a few weeks, I can see such positive changes in him-- he's braver, more adventurous and more outgoing now when I take him out.

Other stuff I love: Beatrice and team are fairly responsive via text but won't let it distract them during walks, I get really adorable pics and videos at the end of the day, payment is convenient, the staff is flexible if you have last minute issues (like when I forgot to text a new door code and Ayanna couldn't get into my apt right away, she came back to walk my dog later), my dog looks so happy/excited and jumps up and down when he sees his dogwalker, and finally the staff seems like all around just very nice people. I highly recommend TAKA!

I do not think that we can say enough good things about Beatrice and the crew from TAKA! We got our puppy Luna towards the beginging of Covid and (like most Covid pups) she is extremely shy and really uncomfortable around strangers. The team let us tag along for a few walks as we gradually got her comfortable around new people and her first furry friends. Before we knew it, Luna was rushing out the door and coming home with a smile on her face (literally...).

Personally, I am uneasy giving someone keys to my apartment for any reason. After spending time with the crew on those introduction walks and hearing raving review from neighbors, Luna wasn't the only one feeling comfortable! Literally everyone I have met from TAKA is kind, considerate, and completely adores ALL of the pups. I knew this was a great team after watching them handle the dogs with such passion and care.

The team is always accessible and accommodating for schedule changes, etc. They do a great job making sure Luna does her business and gets plenty of exercise. We love our little girl and only want the best for her! We couldn't imagine using anyone but TAKA!

My husband and I have had Beatrice and her crew of dog walkers taking care of our boy Onyx since we moved into our building. They are the absolute best. You can tell Beatrice and Paul are truly passionate about dogs -- both knowledgeable and loving in their care of our boy. We always get text updates on how his walk went along with photos of him with his dog pals (some of the best pics we have of Onyx came from the TAKA team btw) Highly recommend!

I can't stress enough how much we LOVE the TAKA Dog Walking team! Our dog has been walking with TAKA for over a year now and we couldn't possibly be happier. I'm so grateful that they have been part of our dog's milestone moments and it's heartwarming to know that they truly care about his happiness. They are kind, trustworthy, attentive, and patient; and they've helped our dog make friends with other neighborhood pups. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I LOVE TAKA! I was referred by a friend who lived here many years ago. She told me that Beatrice took care of her and her fiancé's dog as if it was her own and had the most reliable service. When I moved here back in July with my two LARGE and not easy to deal with dogs I needed major help! My boxer is not a fan of other dogs and my Pitt/ hound mix is super high energy and LOVES to pull almost the entire walk. When I moved here the building employees also told me about Beatrice and said how much the tenants count on her and how she is a dog whisperer ! So of course her being mentioned twice already I had to give her a call ! Well I am so glad I did!!!! Beatrice is the kindest person, she is reliable and your dogs will immediately sense her goodness. All of Beatrice's walkers such as Sam and Nat And the new gentleman I met do an amazing job. I trust them in my home if I'm not there I have always had valuables out in the open and I've never cared to lock them up because I know that taka is family and they treat you as so. You can trust them with your pet and in your home. You also get an amazing photo shoot of your pets everyday as well as a summary of there daily walk. My apartment is now decorated with framed photos taken by taka walkers. They love your fur babies and it really shows

Beatrice & her staff are beyond amazing! I have referred over 20 Dogs & Cats to Taka Dog Walk! Beatrice & her staff give amazing experiences not only for dogs But, also gives us dog owners the ease to go away and not have to worry about our fury friend.

Taka, Beatrice, and her whole team have been LIFESAVERS for us and our Aussie puppy, Dobby. I unexpectedly switched jobs when he was only about 12 weeks and they enthusiastically signed on to care for him with only 3 days notice! Walk him 3 times a day 5x/week, feed him lunch, cleaned his paws before he was fully vaccinated, the whole 9. We get updates with photos throughout the day and it's apparent how much work they put into loving him and training him on these walks by his amazing behavior. Aussies are notoriously smart and stubborn and he's growing into such a perfect dog at only 5 months now. We ran into one of her employees when we were walking him on the weekend and Dobby was SO excited to see her it was the cutest! All of us and most importantly our boy love taka you won't find better care!!

My wife and I have used TAKA Dog Walk's services for a little over a year now. It's sad that all good things must come to and end.

We are moving so we will no longer be clients anymore :(

Beatrice and her team are amazing with our dogs! They take great care of them on their walks and we think of them as family.

My brother and I have used TAKA dog walk for roughly 3 years. My Pembroke Welshi Corgi (Growlithe) and his Shiba Inu / Pomeranian (Eevee) are two friendly, quirky dogs that love to play. Nearly every day they were walked with the group at The Estuary in Weehawken, NJ. For all 3 years, I've had zero issues with TAKA and 100x better service than any other dog walker group. They are attentive, understanding and proactive on ensuring our dogs are cared for, in our absence. There were also several events that led to us asking TAKA to check on our pups, without notice. They are quick to accommodate!! I love the service and efforts they provide and the friendly and cheerful attitude they present to our pups. I moved, so unfortunately my Corgi isn't walked by them, but my brother's dog (Eevee) still trots with the group every day! Thank you guys - for all the hard work and ease you've given myself and my brother... and Growlithe and Eevee!!
