Ruby Payne-Scott - Radio Astronomer

Sixty years ago, a little known Australian woman helped lay the foundations of a whole new branch of science using little more than a bent coathanger and a few odds and ends of plugs and switches. Here name was Ruby Payne-Scott, a pioneer not only of radio astronomy but of women's rights, too. Pauline Newman presents this portrait of a remarkable woman.
