Ingredients
- 8 skin-on salmon fillets
- 2 tsp. oil
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
Directions

- Step 1Prepare grill for direct grilling on medium. Brush grate until very clean.
- Step 2Combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper and set aside. Pat salmon fillets dry. Brush fillets all over with oil; sprinkle with salt. Coat flesh sides with BBQ rub. Push soaked skewers through salmon lengthwise; place, skin side down, on grill. Cover; cook without turning over 14 minutes or until just opaque. With metal spatula, scrape fillets from grill. If skin sticks to grate, remove fillet only.
