Thanksgiving dinners

■ Chardonnay Restaurant is serving Thanksgiving dinner from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at 2331 U.S. 41 N., Naples. Reservations and information: 261-3111

■ Mel’s restaurants are serving complete Thanksgiving dinners from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $10.99. You have the choice of roast turkey, roast loin of pork, Virginia ham steak or a Key Lime catch. Pumpkin pie is $1.99. Children under 10 get roast turkey, Virginia ham steak or Macaroni and cheese for only $4.99. Sweet potato pie

If you love sweet potato pie, try one from Henry’s Deli Carry Out in Washington, D.C. The tiny restaurant has been making this holiday favorite since 1968 and is now selling a do-it-yourself kit that includes two pie shells, two packages of pie fillings and directions ($27). New restaurants

■ Bianchi’s at Bayfront, a family trattoria and bar, is now open for dinner at 492 Bayfront Place, Naples. Information: 331-8441

■ McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant will open for dinner on Dec. 1 and add lunch to their schedule on Dec. 2 at the Mercato, 9114 Strada Place, Naples. The 8,700-square-foot restaurant seats more than 300 people and has a private dining room for up to 55. Information and reservations: 591-4505

■ Sea Salt, a restaurant and market, has opened at 1186 Third St. S., Naples. The restaurant is known for its seafood, meat and organic vegetables. The old-world-style market carries 70 different types of salt, meat and cheese, Norman Love chocolates, exotic oils, vinegars and prepared foods. New bakery

Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the heaviest traffic day in stores across the country. The following are store hours and promotions for some stores in our area:
