The Oprah Winfrey Show is highly influential, especially upon women, and many of its topics penetrate into pop-cultural consciousness.
The 25th and final season of the US chat show queen's programme is currently being aired in the US and will air here on TV3 later this year. The 56-year-old is due to launch her own television channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network, in 2011.
