Canadian Customers Get FFIX in French

Thanks to a production error, Canadian consumers got FFIX without an English owner's manual.

Square EA confirmed today that there was a production error at Sony Disc Manufacturing that has caused Canadian consumers to get only the French version of the game's owner's manual. According to Square EA, all units of FFIX that shipped to Canada included the French owner's manual and Online Guide booklet, where in fact the units were supposed to include both English and French versions of the owner's manual. Subsequent shipments will have the English owner's manual shrinkwrapped to the front of the jewel case.

The English owner's manual will be available in most stores for consumers to pick up within the next couple of days. Square EA recommends that consumers to call and check with the store they purchased the game for availability of the manual.
