However, in accordance with the Expenditure Restraint Act of 2010, the sessional allowance and additional salaries are frozen at the 2009-2010 levels until the end of fiscal year 2012-2013.

However in accordance with Section 55 of the Expenditure Restraint Act, being Part 10 of the Budget Implementation Act, 2009 (S.C. 2009, c.2), the sessional allowance and additional salaries were increased by 1.5% in 2009-2010.
