Popular director and writer Nandyala Ravi died on Friday (May 14) morning succumbing to Covid-19. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad, where he breathed his last. Nandyala Ravi's untimely demise came across as a shock to everyone in the Telugu film industry.

NANDYALA RAVI DIES OF COVID COMPLICATIONS

Several talented actors, directors and technicians have lost their lives to the novel coronavirus in the last few weeks. Now, director Nandyala Ravi passed away due to complications caused by Covid-19. He succumbed to the disease on Friday morning.

When the news about Nandyala Ravi contracting the Covid-19 virus broke, a few celebrities stepped forward to lend a helping hand to him and his family members to fight the battle with Covid-19.

Megastar Chiranjeevi arranged necessary help for Ravi. Similarly, comedian Saptagiri donated Rs 1 lakh to the filmmaker for his hospital treatment. Producer K Radha Mohan contributed Rs 1 lakh to him and constantly monitored his health condition. However, Nandyala Ravi's health deteriorated today morning.

Nandyala Ravi was known for his best work in films like Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki, Orey Bujjigaa and Power Play.

Earlier this week, popular actor and journalist TNR aka Tummala Narasimha Reddy died of Covid-19. He was 45.
