UFC President Dana White says anyone who wants him to badmouth President Trump better not hold their breath.
Mixed martial arts fans are gearing up for what will likely be the biggest UFC fight of all time when lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov squares off against Conor McGregor on Oct. 6, but Mr. White took a moment on Sunday to pay tribute to those who helped him in the past.
“I’m never going to say anything bad about Donald Trump — ever. Ever, ever, ever,” Mr. White told “OBJECTified” host Harvey Levin. ” That guy gave us our start when nobody would talk to us.”

The comment came in response to the assertion that Mr. White was “fiercely loyal” to the billionaire.
“No arenas wanted us,” Mr. White said of promotional efforts in the early 2000s. “This guy reached out, and he’s always been a friend to me. The guy’s always been a friend of me. Donald Trump has never done anything remotely negative to me ever — except try to compete with me. I’m not going to say anything negative about him and I never have.”
UFC 229 will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
