I ABSOLUTELY loved this little coffee shop - truly a hidden gem in Mission Bay. I got their Spice Islands drink and was so surprised by how flavorful it was. It was the perfect balance of coffee flavor and delicious cinnamon/nutmeg flavors. It reminded me of a dirty chai (but even better). They have numerous milk options as well!
The staff was also very friendly and there was practically no line when I came for my morning coffee. It seems you can also pre-order and pick up your order at the front! I will 100% be coming back to try out their other drinks and food options.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 -

I recently visited the SPRO food truck at Spark Social and I must say, it was an incredible experience! We tried the spiced island hot drink, Indian summer cold drink, coco de mer hot drink, and the strawberry guava mochi waffle, and we were blown away. The drinks were hands down the best espresso-based drinks we've ever had. They struck the perfect balance - not too sweet or rich, just incredibly smooth and delightful.
What impressed us the most was the temperature of the hot drinks. They were served at the ideal temperature, so we didn't have to wait long to take that first satisfying sip. The menu was so tempting that we couldn't resist going back for the coco de mer hot drink, and it was just as amazing as the others.
As for the mochi waffle, it was a pleasant surprise. It was light and airy, completely defying our expectations of mochi being dense.
Needless to say, we'll be returning to SPRO food truck to explore the rest of their menu. If you're a fan of perfectly balanced espresso drinks and delightful treats, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't be disappointed!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 -

I love hojicha and was surprised to see it here at Spark Social! Their hojicha is not too strong or too light which I like. It was not overly sweet but just good enough.
Wait time to get the drink is average but wait time to order can get long. I just got lucky.
Spending $6 for a hojicha latte is totally not worth it but considering it to be good, it was fine with meHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 -

Man o man is this cappuccino good. Charming little outdoor spot to enjoy a coffee. These are the type of places that make me love SF.
The brown butter cookie is not for me. Might have been delicious ---yesterday! (Sorry.) But I'll be back for the spro...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 -

They open pretty early for a food truck at 7am so I'll treat myself to Spro once in a while if I don't have to be at work right away. I've tried their hojicha latte and hong kong style milk tea and they both hit the spot on a cold morning. The bagel with salmon is nom worthy however, it's pricey and small.
The menu has quite a few interesting items you wouldn't typically see at other coffee places such as a japanese mochi waffles, salmon miso salad, umami bomb avocado toast and a matcha cookie. I'm not a coffee drinker but they do have a good array of coffees to choose from as well as a few smoothies. Don't forget to check the menu on their food truck for they offer more drinks from mochas, teas and pour overs.
The employees are nice and the drinks are ready within minutes. They have plenty of seating nearby. I don't come as often as I'd like to due the pricing, so I'll slowly make my way to the food and pastries menu. Take a break from Blue bottle and Starbucks and show this Spro some love!Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 -

I ordered a Kyoto kiss at around 930am on a weekday. They told me that my drink will be ready in like 5 to 6 minutes, and that it was OK if I walked around the area. My drink was ready almost right on time. Perfect and smiley service from the barista.
It's a food truck located by the soccer court, outdoor seating, only, but it's inside of a large fenced area. Suuuuper sunny!
My drink certainly had a strong flavor. A memorable drink for sure. Not exactly very sweet, more on the savory/aromatic side.
Anyways, it was eight dollars for a cup. Their large is the size of a medium everywhere else.
Not that I'm complaining, I thought the drink was wonderful.
The barista asked if she could place five pieces of tape onto the lid of my drink, to ensure that it would not spill, because I was walking on two dogs at the time I picked up my order. A very considerate move, and elegantly/efficiently done.
Will I go again, yes!
I recommend checking this place out, quality bev! Let's see if it's as impressive next time!
I will get pictures upon that visit.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 -

An enjoyable truck with pretty good food. I usually get the ube cookie and salmon sandwich from here. The ube cookie is nice and chewy with oatmeal and coconut bits. One of the better ube cookies out there because it's not too sweet. And the salmon sandwich is interesting because they use a wasabi honey cream cheese, which works surprisingly well for such a strange sounding combination. The bagel has a good chew as well. Sometimes it's a little sweet though, but that's the only negative. A really well thought out place to get your cafe goods.

Needed some caffeine waiting for my friends to arrive at Spark Social and decided to grab something from Spro. There were so many options and I was feeling hot chocolatey until I set my sights on a hot white chocolate matcha. Perfect. The worker who took my order was quick and the drink itself was super matchy! Tasted great and also warmed my soul while I waited in the cold. I'll have to swing by to try one of the seasonal drinks at some point. They make the drinks pretty quick to order!

I mostly get their coffee drinks when I'm there. They are ok, but the hubby likes to try their food and desserts. Located inside Spark Social, this is a popular food truck. Based on my notes, we both like the Havana sandwich. He also likes the blueberry muffin because it's soft and gooey.
