Applying to the University of Aberdeen to study Online is easy so you can get started on your studies quickly.

1. Find your Programme or select one of our short courses;

2. Apply

• You will need to upload an official academic transcript with an official English translation (if the original is not in English);

What happens next?

You will receive a response within two working days with an offer of a place.

3. Accept

• Your offer letter will explain how to accept your place.

4. Course registration

• You will get an email from one of our Online team detailing the courses you will be studying, and the course choices you may have. It will also detail the options for payment, including your first payment.
• You can book a call time with our Online team to confirm any course choices and payment.

5. Get ready to study

• We send your University IT account details, University of Aberdeen email address and your course and induction materials so you can familiarise yourself ahead of your course starting.

If you are not registered for a full degree programme but rather for a single course or a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma you can choose to continue your studies. For those students who are selecting courses individually or if you want to carry on your studies to one of our MSc Programmes, you will be contacted to discuss your options.

Graduate!

For students who have completed a programme, you can graduate either by attending a ceremony in Aberdeen OR in absentia if you are not able to come to receive your degree in person or have studied for a PgDip or PgCert.
