🛜 The youngest generations have been brought into a world of constant connectivity. They know no other way - born digital, born connected. Whether scrolling #TikTok, playing #Roblox, or doing their homework, children’s tightening relationship with technology often concerns parents and educators. Let’s talk about AI too. Our research showed that 1 in 5 children have already experimented with #AI - and with artificial intelligence tools expected to grow by almost 40% per year over the next 6 years, they will only become a bigger part of children’s home and school life. How do kids feel about all this? As part of our latest report, Born connected: The rise of the AI generation, we spoke to teens and tweens worldwide to hear what they had to say about their digital life and AI. Happy birthday Qustodio! 🎂 Today, we're turning 11, and we can't imagine a better team to celebrate with. For over a decade, this hard-working, creative group has dedicated themselves to making the digital world a safe space for children. Each year our birthday is an opportunity for us to reflect, both on the past and what we have achieved, and what we have in store for many years in the future. We can't wait! #happybirthday #qustodio #digitalwellbeing #teamwork

We recently celebrated our annual Hackathon, but this year, we added a fun twist! The annual hackathon is a time for us to work with different teams and fresh faces, and come together to innovate, create, and discover new ways of doing things. At Qustodio, our hackathon is open to anyone and everyone, which means we get input and perspective from all teams in the company. Our theme for 2023's #hackathon? AI, of course! We wanted to put our heads together and come up with new ways that #AI could help our tools, our families, and our team. It was a jam-packed couple of days, experimenting with and presenting new ideas. Congratulations to the whole team, and of course, the winners, for their hard work and AI-powered efforts! #innovation #teamwork #hackathon2023

70% of parents feel that screens and technology are a distraction from family time, and 50% of parents report that devices and how they're used cause arguments on a weekly or daily basis at home. In our latest Annual Data Report, "From Alpha to Z: raising the digital generations", we spoke to parents and guardians to understand how they feel about raising children in the digital generations. To help families achieve digital wellbeing and balance, it's important to listen to both parents and children and discover what their worries are, and work together with them to build a safe, healthy environment where everyone gets the most out of technology. This weekend, Screen Sanity, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families navigate their screen and technology concerns, mentioned our findings in The New York Times, and gave invaluable insight on helping families achieve more of a balance. Thank you Screen Sanity for sharing the report, and for drawing attention to a new dynamic affecting so many families around the world. #technology #familyfirst #screentime https://lnkd.in/dG8Gh7Wx
