The 2025 Acura MDX arrives with a mild refresh for the new model year. The three-row SUV gains a slightly updated exterior design and an updated infotainment system with a new touchscreen. Here’s what we know about the upcoming 2025 Acura MDX.On the outside, the 2025 Acura MDX gets a slightly updated exterior design with a new grille that has a diamond pattern, darkened headlights, darkened taillights, and new 20-inch wheels. The sporty MDX Type S gets a new frameless grille to go along with the darker trim pieces. The overall design of the MDX remains the same for the 2025 model year. New for 2025 is the addition of the A-Spec with Advance Package trim, which slots just below the Type S near the top of the range.The interior design of the 2025 Acura MDX gets a slight update for the new model year. The midsize SUV gains a redesigned center console that has ditched Acura’s touchpad system. The change sees the center console get some extra space to put the wireless charging pad closer to access and additional storage slots. The overall design of the 2025 Acura MDX will remain the same as the current model that’s on sale.When it comes to tech features, the 2025 Acura MDX comes with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in. The touchscreen replaces Acura’s touchpad interface system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will continue to be standard. Acura has added a few new Bang & Olufsen audio systems, with lower trims getting 19-speaker audio systems and higher trims getting 31 speakers.2025 Acura MDX Engine & SpecsPower for the 2025 Acura MDX will continue to come from a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The sporty MDX Type S will come with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 355 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard. The base engine comes with front-wheel drive and is available with all-wheel drive.2025 Acura MDX SafetyAcura has updated its list of standard safety features with the 2025 Acura MDX. The midsize SUV gains an upgraded version of the automaker’s AcuraWatch suite with a new front camera and a new grille-mounted radar.Standard safety features with the MDX continue to include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, and traffic jam assist.2025 Acura MDX Price2025 MDX pricing ranges from $52,250 for the base model to $76,300 for the Type S with Advance Package. The base model is only up $750 compared to the 2024 model, but the Type S model is nearly $7,000 more expensive than last year, as the Advance Package is now standard equipment. The new A-Spec with Advance Package trim comes in at $69,350.
