The Amazon Trade-In Program

With the Amazon Trade-In Program, you get an Amazon.com gift card in exchange for thousands of eligible items.

The Amazon Trade-In program allows you to exchange eligible Trade-In items for an Amazon.com Gift Card for the assessed value of the Trade-In. For more details about payments for Trade-Ins, go to Receiving Payment for a Trade-In. Eligible items include certain Amazon devices, electronics, video games, and more.

Your items must match the exact version in the Trade-In search results or on the Amazon product page. If you can't find an item in our Trade-In Store, we don't have an offer for it. However, we update items in the program often, so check back regularly. You may also recycle your device through the Amazon Recycling Program. Once you create a Trade-In order, you have 45 days to send us your Trade-In. Unless you are eligible for Instant Payment, your Amazon.com Gift Card and, if applicable, promotional discount is applied to your account after we receive and process your Trade-In.
