This document provides instructions for making fuel briquettes by hand without a press using only plastic bottles or containers as molds. The briquettes are made from a mixture of soaked waste paper and sawdust with water to bind it. The wet mixture is packed into a plastic-lined mold and compressed by hand or with a tool to form a briquette. Once dried in the sun for several days, the briquettes can be used as fuel for cooking and reduce the need for wood in areas where finding fuel is difficult.
