“Love”

This piece is about love and that we should all try to have a romantic attitude like shown in the piece. The model Jessica was sitting on the bench and looking a bit lonely, but now she is in better company with this mysterious man, this is how ben descibes this piece of work. He took this picture of Jessica sitting on the bench and then made this unusal drawing by drawing with colour pencils on black paper which is very difficult to do. The principles of media art shown in this piece are hybridization, and point of view. Hybrisidzation is shown in this piece because Ben did not only just take a picture of Jessica sitting on the bench but added his artisitc skills in as well by drawing on the paper and adding it into the picture. He is combining digital art with his drawings to create an interesting composition. Point of View is used in this piece by Ben showing his point of view on love. He portrays love as being something mysrical by having Jessica’s love drawn on paper and held beside her. This gives us an interesting perspective on him and how he has love in his life or sees love. This piece of work in my opinion is a very creative and unique way to create a piece of work.
