Ukrainian People's Party nominates its leader Kostenko for president

Kostenko said that around 40% of Ukrainians support the right-wing ideas of his party.
At the same time, while addressing the delegates, the UPP's member and Ukrainian president's representative for international energy security issues Bohdan Sokolovsky said that Lviv branch of the party passed a decision about its support of incumbent president Viktor Yuschenko as a candidate in the upcoming presidential elections.
The UPP party leader said that he would submit his documents to the Central Election Commission next week.
Kostenko ran for Ukraine's presidency at the 1999 elections and received 2.17% of votes.
