A new mum has left social media users gobsmacked after she revealed how much her son weighed when he was born - with some telling her he looked big enough to be paying taxes just a few days after coming into the world.
Erika Weber went viral after she responded to a video from a woman on TikTok who asked other users to share their stories about birthing the "biggest babies", as she shared the shocking news that her son weighed a staggering 12lbs 6oz when he was born.
The mum-of-two, from the US, explained she had given birth via C-section on the advice of her doctor, after it was determined at her 37-week ultrasound that her baby was currently over 9lbs and still growing. But what she didn't expect was for her son to arrive another 3lbs heavier.
In her video - which was shared to her @weberboymomma2 account and has been viewed over 8 million times since it was posted in 2021 - Erika said: "So everyone keeps tagging me in this and telling me I should do this.
"At 37 weeks I went in for an ultrasound and my son was weighing in at 9lb 15oz so we scheduled for a C-section. I ended up being put into labour the day before the C-section and I still went with a C-section because the doctor highly advised that, and...
"I had a baby that was 12lbs 6oz and he came out of the hospital wearing three-month clothing, size one diapers, and now he's six months old and wearing 18-month clothing."
Since being posted, the video has racked up more than 1.8 million likes and over 8,000 comments from stunned viewers who couldn't believe the size of the little boy - with some joking he was born looking like a three-year-old child.
One person said: "Bro came out with a whole credit score," while another put: "That child came out already three years old."
"That man should be paying taxes," said a third, as a fourth person also joked: "Girl u had a whole toddler. He is adorable."
And someone else commented: "It's like she's holding a prize bass."
Erika regularly posts videos featuring her two sons on her TikTok account, and she recently reminisced on her viral video in January, when she shared the picture of her son when he was first born and set it to the song Popular from the musical Wicked.
She also gave her fans an insight into how her son is doing now, as she captioned the video: "He's still a big boy even at the age of two!"
