Tony Khan: Swerve is a great wrestler. I brought him to meet my dad + NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. I told them about Swerve getting stapled in the face vs Hangman Page. After Roger left, I told Swerve I conveniently left out the drinking blood part. ... I love bringing the NFL + AEW together."

If the Bears top weapons all have average NFL seasons for them, we will finally have our first 4,000+ passing season.

If the Bears top weapons all have average NFL seasons for them, we will finally have our first 4,000+ passing season.

Average yards per season:

  • Keenan Allen - 957

  • DJ Moore - 1094

  • Kmet - 529

  • Everett - 404

  • Swift - 353 (receiving yards)

  • Rome - It is hard to say how a prospect will transition from college to the NFL, so I tried to see how a top 10 selected WR can be expected to do by averaging receiving yards in their rookie season for every top 10 WR since 2017.

Prospects included and their yards:

Drake london 866 Garrett Wilson - 1103 Jamar Chase - 1455 Waddle - 1015 Devonta Smith - 916 Corey Davis - 375 Mike Williams - 95 John Ross - 0

Even including Ross's 0 yards, this puts the average at 728.

Total Yards: 4,065

Will Williams be able to feed everyone enough to give them an average season? Who knows, but it really speaks to how good the weapons around him are and the job Poles has done bringing talent to this offense.

Bonus fun fact: If all of these players match their second worse year (for Rome, this means tying Mike Williams’s 95 yard rookie season), that would be 2,929 passing yards, most by a bears QB since 2019.
