Fast and helpful

My ticket was answered incredibly fast. My issue that had been bodering me for serveral months was solved in days with shockbyte's technical support.

Great experience

We have used this service for as long as I can remember! There were no issues with Shockbyte, rather, we simply stopped having the time to play and as such, no longer have the need for a server. In the future if we play again, we'll most likely return to Shockbyte.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Takes forever to respond and offers a $3 incentive to have them respond faster. Biggest waste of my money.

First of all I want to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. Although we try to get to everyone as fast as possible, this is not always possible, depending on the traffic we are experiencing. Hence the system where you can prioritise your ticket.

Dodgy business practice

Product was not delivered within the 3 business days as per their own refund policy. Refund was denied despite gaming server taking ~3 weeks to set up.

Continued recurring costs after they closed my ticket to cancel the service without response and continued to bill. All attempts to contact and cancel/refund the service ended the same way. Reported to my bank as fraud in a means to block transactions.

Tanner is who you want to speak to for minecraft!

What can I say at first I could tell they were just following protocol of giving advice on what I should do as the customer/consumer. Upon very easily explaining to Tanner that I would just screw it up .... they explained they can do it I just had to give permission I was worried at first as I felt like they couldn't do anything and just give me advice but Tanner went above and beyond to help me and not only try and fix the issue but is willing to wipe and install everything I want for me which I am beyond thankful for and within the same hour of having the issues! This PERSON deserves a RAISE!

Lag issue, Poor customer service

Server had lag, then when a ticket was opened and we were told we would be moved to another node they left me without any server for over a full day.

Failed to communicate in that time so i could not get a refund.

Experience with BenW

Shockbyte's ease of access to all of your files, video tutorials on how to edit your server to how you want, 24/7 support, and fair pricing on rental plans keeps me staying here with them as my go-to server rental! While I have to occasionally stop renting a server for financial issues, in the end I don't think I'd want to swap out to a different one!

The general support staff worked with…

The general support staff worked with me to get my palworld server up and running smoothly. The sever at first would only let me in. After trying out multiple troubleshooting options and a couple node jumps, the server let everyone in and has a steady low ping. Jade L, Alejandro M, and Bastion F are the real MVPs.

Absolutely outstanding support across the board

I've had an absolutely outstanding support experience from you guys. I work with various technical support teams on a daily basis as part of my job, yet this support experience has far surpassed what I've had elsewhere in years. Even more surprising is that your team doesn't have per-team member ticket ownership, but somehow there's continuity from one communication to the next. That's an incredibly rare thing!

I've been helped by too many people to list over the last month, but all of them have given outstanding support, going above and beyond even when I'm troubleshooting subtle things that many support teams would just dismiss.

Amazing! Kudos!

was having problmes staying connected

was having problmes staying connected to the server with my modded pack. Ross did an amazing job helping to identify the problem, and resolve it super fast. on top of answering all my questions. he was Fantastic!
