Dirk Klaas Fokke Meijer (Dick) was born in 1940 in Soest, The Netherlands. After finishing High school, (2nd Chr. HBS) in Groningen, he started his study in Pharmacy In 1959 at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. After his masters in 1967, he was PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine and defended his doctoral thesis in Pharmacology in 1972.
He is married to Geke Severs. They have two children (Wouter and Marleen) and presently also three grandchildren (Steijn, Menthe and Diede)
Following his PhD studies, he worked at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York (1973-1974) as research associate and subsequently became lecturer at the Groningen University. In 1980, he was nominated to full professor in Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacotherapy at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
He is, at present, author/ co-author of 650 scientific publications, including 26 chapters in international journals and textbooks, on the subject of Drug Kinetics, Drug Targeting, Membrane Transport and, more recently, on Science Philosophy and Information Science. He was on the scientific board of various international journals and was member of European Federation of Pharmaceutical Sciences and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
From 1978 to 2006, he coached in total 60 PhD students during their PhD studies in the Faculties of Medical Sciences and/or Natural Sciences.
He was co-founder and scientific director of the Drug Research Institute GUIDE of the University of Groningen. He was also the founding chairman of the Dutch Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (NVFW) and that of the Federation for Innovative Drug Research in the Netherlands (FIGON). He was, in this context, co-founder of the Dutch National Drug Research Institute (TI Pharma).

In 2004, he received the “Saal van Zwanenberg” prize for his contributions to the design and development of novel drugs and drug formulations as well as the organization of Drug Research in the Netherlands. In 2006 he retired as professor and was appointed “Knight of the Order of the Dutch Lion”. In 2007/2008 he worked on a partnership of universities, colleges and industries in the field of Life Sciences in the Northern Netherlands.

This paper pays special attention to the interfacing of the field of universal consciousness and our personal brain in relation to a potential afterlife and postulates a toroidal event horizon workspace of the brain that allows a symmetric 4-Dimensional (4-D) to 3-Dimensional (3-D) quantum information flux and holographic personal memory integration. The geometry of a 3-D brain, embedded in a 4-D realm, may explain the phenomena of functional brain binding, qualia, intuition, serendipity, synchronicity, extra-sensory perception, and other well-established parapsychological phenomena. Brain function is conceptualized as guided by the Zero-point Energy (ZPE) Field (ZPF)-derived pilot waves that support consciousness, even in the absence of neuronal activity, such as in Near-Death Experiences (NDE). The brain's toroidal organization exhibits quaternionic dynamics and thereby allows an opening to 4-D geometry and, consequently, to universal consciousness and the ZPF. This personal holographic workspace, that is associated with but not reducible to the brain, collects active information in a "brain event horizon," as an internal and fully integral model of the self. At death or transition of our material body, this personal mental knowledge domain dissociates from the body, yet it is retained because entangled and meaningful quantum information can never be destroyed. In NDE, this uncoupling is only temporal, but reveals universal consciousness in a fully transparent manner, since in this condition non-neuronal information processing is preserved. This preservation occurs through fractal semi-harmonic frequencies, from the ZPE field, that reflect an entangled personal register of each conscious being. The proposed concept, therefore, contradicts the tentative and promissory materialist solution to the mind-body problem. Instead, it substantiates the notion that the brain can act as a kind of "receiver" by filtering (sub)conscious states through holographic resonance with universal consciousness through specific coherent oscillation domains in the body. Yet, it is recognized that our self-consciousness can also act as a damping filter for information from this universal knowledge field. The latter aspect of a "dual filter theory" is apparently perturbed at states of modified brain function such as NDE, deep meditation, and use of psychomimetic drugs, that all expose us to an unknown cosmic perspective. The presence of a mental, fieldreceptive, resonant workspace, might be termed our "supervening double" (or "soul," not implying religious doctrine), and provides an interpretation framework for widely reported but poorly understood transpersonal conscious states. These may even imply that death can be conceived as a transition to another state of existence, yet we realize that all of us already belong to such an eternal domain in our present lives. Therefore, the present model may imply the potential for the survival of individual consciousness, qualifying conscious individuals as designated survivors and eternal beings.

In this essay an attempt is made to provide a condensed overview of the alarming state of the art of current scientific endeavor, as it is revealed in a spectrum of international reports, and also to formulate potential solutions for the severe conditions at stake. Nowadays, the science scene displays its own structural problems, framed by some as the "inflation in science". The related, evidently counterproductive, elements are generally very well realized by individual scientists, but often are not openly discussed in the scientific community. These calamities include the lack of a basic analysis of the current scientific process itself, by which major influences of questionable science policies, commercial interests, and the power of traditional views, as well as the lack of openness to novel approaches, remain in the dark. All this seems related to the contention that scientists strive for basic objectivity, but in fact are influenced by many of the subjective human attitudes revealed in many other fields of human society. For example, there is a worrying increase in technology-induced information dependence: even knowledge acquisition is not free from addictive features. We may fail to realize that both students and scientists can become the victim of a dominant evolutionary mechanism: that of the reward system in our brain that can induce severe addiction to Internet as displayed on computer, tablet and smart phones. This adverse process is greatly stimulated by the current boom of AI systems that, in themselves, show great promise but also bear the risk of irreversible changes in developing brain function and thus the quality of our candidate students. The current problems in science, as observed by the present author and extensively reported by leading scientists all over the world, are presented and discussed, and a set of potential solutions is tentatively offered.

Information is considered as a fundamental building block of reality, along with matter and energy. Yet the word information is often employed as a container term that represents many different modalities ranging from information constituting a physical parameter to the daily transmission of the news in human culture. Information is particularly known from the description of nature at its micro-level and from computer science (bits an qbits), but also is essential in understanding the evolution of macrostructures in the Universe. The interactions of subatomic waves/particles subsequent to the Big Bang, guided by feedback loops and backward causation, created a dynamic network of quantum information, that finally enabled the formation of highly complex macromolecular structures and first life. Parallel innovations in biophysical complexity occurred, expressed in quantum states that can be brought in superposition, after an “intelligent” search and selection process in nature, aiming at a future path. Therefore, both the becoming and future of the Universe can be viewed as an unfolding as well as a continuous measurement and creation of basic information. A collective memory of nature or a universal consciousness is considered as a prerequisite for the origin of life and further evolution of intelligence.
Current information theory implies that information can both be described as a physical entity, bearing an entropic element, in which the impact of information is inversely related to the probability that it will occur (Type 1 information), versus the concept that information reflects the certainty of a message and is directly related to its probability and meaning (Type 2 information). This dual aspect of information reflects the perspectives of sender and receiver in the transmission process and resembles wave/particle duality in which (proto)-consciousness can be instrumental in transition of the Type 1 to the Type 2 information aspects. It is shown that basic information is largely hidden from us, due to observation- induced perturbation of this intrinsic information.

Summary
The present essay/literature compilation in part 1 of our studies, deals with a prominent problem in physics: how to reconcile relativistic and quantum mechanical theories for describing the fabric of reality, in relation to the origin and nature of gravity. Since Einstein, adequately, described gravity in general relativity as arising from a warping of space-time, nevertheless, hundreds of alternative theories have been forwarded in articles and books, albeit without finding definite clues. The development of quantum physics and search for mathematical defined quantum gravity revealed fundamental discrepancies with Einstein’s ideas, that could not be reconciled until today. So, science is still left with the major question as to the very origin of gravity, as well as to that of anti-gravity (or dark energy), both at the macro-cosmological and micro-(Planckian) levels. How and when in cosmic history were these “forces” generated, do they indeed constitute long-distance forces and do they imply (anti)- gravitational fields? Can gravity be generated by an excitation of such a gravitational field, producing gravity transferring wave/particles (the currently missing graviton in the standard model)? In addition, further questions were raised: should gravity be regarded as a fundamental and thus independent force or does it rather emerge from field interactions such as electromagnetism and zero-point energy? How is the relation with the known physical laws such as thermodynamics and entropy, as well as informational aspects of the fabric of reality? Should we see the latter in relation to gravity as background dependent, as in the known String theories, or as background independent as in the Spin network of Loop-Quantum Gravity? Finally, does the related unfolding of the cosmic quantum information require a quantum observer and, in this regard, is there a role for quantum mediated consciousness in the evolution of a self-reconstructive Universe, (to be treated in part 3 of our article). Its basis is an Acoustic Quantum Code of Resonant Coherence that connects and guides the fabric of reality from Cosmic to Planck scales. This represents a primordial power spectrum of discrete EMF frequencies, that was revealed by us in acoustic patterns in the CMB pattern, zero-point energy field, boson energy distribution at a step-wise unfolding of cosmic information at the birth of the universe, in energy distribution of gravitational waves and recently in brain micro-tubular oscillations in a state of coherent resonance with quantum fluctuations at the Planck scale. We submit that at symmetry breaking from 5D to 4 D, oscillating phonons were manifest that can form quasi-particles with proton-electron pairs, together framed by us as polaron gravitones. Repulsive and attractive charge interactions of such composed gravitational units may produce Dark energy and Gravity respectively. Alternatively, similar charge interactions may occur in the process of Matter/Antimatter interaction, by which Gravity is being coupled to particle annihilation in the ZPE setting. This sound (phonon)- mediated creation of Gravity/Dark energy will be discussed by treating a variety of currently formulated Gravity hypotheses. It will be shown that integrating a number of related aspects of the treated theories can, in principle, yield a comprehensive and unified Gravity theory on the basis of both Quantum physical and Relativity frameworks. This concept is shown to require a dynamic spacetime lattice constitution, coupled to toroidal geometry. The concerted hypotheses will be elaborated in part 2 of the present article. The present essay deals with the role of sound (phonon wave-particles), in the formation of dipole Bipolarons, seen as being instrumental in describing the origin and nature of Gravity/Dark energy, through dual charge interactions with a primordial structured vacuum lattice. Since Einstein described gravity in his General Theory of Relativity, as arising from a warping of space-time, nevertheless, hundreds of alternative theories have been forwarded in articles and books, albeit without finding definite clues, both at the macro-cosmological and micro-(Planckian) levels. The basis for the present concept is our earlier reported "Acoustic Quantum Code of Resonant Coherence", that is supposed to connect and guide the fabric of reality in a scale-invariant manner, from Cosmic to Planck scales. This code represents a primordial power spectrum of discrete EMF frequencies that was revealed by us in acoustic patterns in the CMB pattern, Zero-point energy field oscillations and Boson energy distribution, among many other processes in biophysics. This EMF pattern was also proposed by Wong et al, to be involved the step-wise unfolding of cosmic information at the birth of the universe, and is compatible with the unified holographic concept of Brown et al. A similar energy distribution was recently found by us for gravitational waves and, remarkably, also in brain micro-tubular oscillations in a state of coherent resonance with quantum fluctuations at the Planck scale. In the present paper, we submit that at symmetry breaking from 5D to 4 D, oscillating phonons were created that can form quasi-particles with proton-electron pairs, together framed by us as "Bi-Polaron Gravitones". Attractive and Repulsive charge interactions of such confined electron/proton composites can generate Gravity and Dark Energy forces respectively. Alternatively, similar charge interactions may occur in the process of electron/positron (matter/antimatter) interaction, by which Gravity/Dark Energy would be coupled to particle annihilation in the ZPE setting. This sound (phonon)mediated creation of Gravity/Dark Energy can, in principle, yield a comprehensive and unified Gravity theory on the basis of both Quantum mechanical and Relativity frameworks. The present "Bipolaron concept" requires a 3D dynamic space-time lattice medium, with vortex/torus operators at its corners, constituting a fractal multiple-scale structure, as proposed by Axelrod. At each scale the vortex energy is stored in double-helical torus, allowing a mechanism of energy exchange between symmetric and antisymmetric excitation modes and between a plurality of discrete spatial scales. Vortices play the role of the dominant energy storage element of the vacuum structure, and are generated as a response to the demand for energy compression. The Bipolaron/Gravity hypotheses will be further elaborated in a coming review/literature compilation of which the present paper is an extended summary. The Bi-Polaron concept implies the birth of the "Gravitone", as opposed to the supposed, but currently not detected, Graviton of the Standard Model of Quantum Physics. Therefore, our concept rather pictures the becoming of our universe as an eternal symphonic manifestation.

This study was initiated to establish whether spatio-spectral Eigen-modes of EEG brain waves can be described by an Acoustic Quantum Code of Resonant Coherence, as found by us earlier in a spectrum of animate and inanimate systems. Presently available EEG-and MEG recordings were analyzed as to their peak frequencies in relation to our Quantum Code coherence values. Both the EEG-and MEG studies of healthy persons exhibited quantum coherence of EEG peaks with mean quantum coherence of 0.95 (an average of 90-100% showed coherent peak values), while in patient groups with various mental disorders, a significant decrease of coherence correlation was found. ADHD subjects show a moderate change in peak coherence, being in the range of 1.0 to 0.83, while during epileptic seizures the degree of peak coherence is reduced to a range of 0.94 to 0.75. Depressed patients have EEG peaks with a consistently lower coherence values than healthy persons: 0.77-0.88, while autistic persons show an even lower coherence of 0.50 till 0.75. Patients with severe psychiatric disorders, such as depression, show a coherence of only 0.49-0.61. The importance of EEG brain coherence for conscious states was demonstrated in patients under anaesthesia that exhibited a very low coherence level of about 0.25. The graded loss of brain EEG coherence combined with alterations in Phi based EEG wave separation, can therefore be of value for differentiation in severity and nature of neurological disorders. The value of our frequency algorithm was also shown for trans-cranial therapy: the presently chosen frequencies of rTMS therapy in clinical practice correspond very well with the values of our algorithm. Of interest, the Acoustic Quantum Code pattern was also shown to describe neuronal microtubular (MT) wave frequencies, as measured in vitro by others. MT oscillations were claimed by Hameroff and Penrose to be instrumental in the creation of brain consciousness through alignment with gravity fluctuation at the Planck scale. Our results on brain EEG coherence are therefore discussed in relation to the current models for understanding the nature of (self)-consciousness. We regard the potential relation between neuronal coherence/decoherence balance and conscious states as a central mechanism for producing quantum entanglement in the brain as related to long-distance neuro-communication and brain binding. As postulated earlier, consciousness can be modelled by a 5D brain-associated, toroidal workspace, that provides quality control and monitoring of integral brain function, according to holographic principles and was earlier framed as the "Event Horizon Brain". Consciousness, in this concept, requires photon/phonon mediated and resonant communication with this field-receptive holographic workspace, seen as associated with but not reducible to the human brain. The related brain supervening role of the event horizon workspace requires the collective conscious and unconscious states and realizes a total holographic modality of consciousness that enables effective predictive coding. This 5D, scale invariant, memory workspace, therefore, can be instrumental in the manifestation of Psi phenomena and experiences of cosmic consciousness. At the sub-atomic level, gravity guided quantum tunnelling and coherence of micro-tubular oscillations may produce neuronal entanglement. The latter represents a dominant factor in long distance neural information transfer and functional brain binding. The resulting synchronization of neural network frequencies is likely reflected in the abovementioned brain coherency of EEG peaks, as well as in various mental states that promote feelings of mental wholeness in meditation and psycho-mimetic drug therapy.

IIn the present review/literature compilation*, we submit that a cosmological acoustical background field
underlies the fabric of reality and that this field was and is instrumental in the guiding of biophysical
processes during pre-biotic era’s, biological evolution, as well as in our world we know now and anticipate in
the future. The idea of some recipe for life, seen as a set of primordial rules, has clear connections with the
earlier proposed pilot wave theory of David Bohm, who framed the supposed field as an implicate order.
Implicitly, such theories invite the question whether they imply a deterministic and even super-deterministic
constellation of the cosmos we live in. Of note, the super-determinism debate is related to quantum
mechanical properties such as non-locality, the measurement (observer) problem, statistical independence
of the observer, potential vectorial influences on a distance, free will (choice) of observers and the potential
involvement of hidden variables in quantum physics, all this related to potential violation of Bell’s Theorem.
The latter item was recently treated by Hossenfelder, Palmer, t’ Hooft, and Smolin among many others. We
postulate that the initiation and further evolution of the cosmos was pre-determined by an underlying
information field that is hidden for us and which is considered as primordial attribute of a cyclic (rebounce)
universe. This concept was earlier described by us as a symmetry breaking from a 5D sub-quantum phase
space, that is connected to a 4D superfluid quantum domain with features of the known Zero-point-energy
Field (ZPEF). Our theory can, in principle, be viewed upon as a superdeterministic phenomenon, as currently

underlies the fabric of reality and that this field was and is instrumental in the guiding of biophysical
processes during pre-biotic era’s, biological evolution, as well as in our world we know now and anticipate in
the future. The idea of some recipe for life, seen as a set of primordial rules, has clear connections with the
earlier proposed pilot wave theory of David Bohm, who framed the supposed field as an implicate order.
Implicitly, such theories invite the question whether they imply a deterministic and even super-deterministic
constellation of the cosmos we live in. Of note, the super-determinism debate is related to quantum
mechanical properties such as non-locality, the measurement (observer) problem, statistical independence
of the observer, potential vectorial influences on a distance, free will (choice) of observers and the potential
involvement of hidden variables in quantum physics, all this related to potential violation of Bell’s Theorem.
The latter item was recently treated by Hossenfelder, Palmer, t’ Hooft, and Smolin among many others. We
postulate that the initiation and further evolution of the cosmos was pre-determined by an underlying
information field that is hidden for us and which is considered as primordial attribute of a cyclic (rebounce)
universe. This concept was earlier described by us as a symmetry breaking from a 5D sub-quantum phase
space, that is connected to a 4D superfluid quantum domain with features of the known Zero-point-energy

Meta-analyses of current biomedical and biophysical literature revealed the presence of a fractal pattern of discrete EMF frequency bands, in a wide range of animate and non-animate systems, framed as the GM- scale biophysical principle. This underlying algorithm of semi-harmonic solitonic waves, provides an interface between living and non-living systems, being of relevance for the areas of brain research as well as biological evolution. In this paper we show that the octave-like distribution of EMF frequencies is also present in the absorption/emission spectra of hydrogen atom and, for a significant part, also in the acoustic spectrum of the CMB background radiation. It is proposed therefore that nature is guided by resonating set of quantum vacuum fluctuations of an all-pervading zero-point energy (ZPE)-field, also regarded as a superfluid quantum space (SFQS). Interestingly, our generalized music (GM)-scale concept, reveals an 80% congruence with the EMF frequencies of a recent study, in which a full harmonic wave model was presented that would describe guided fabric of the cosmos, framed as the “Harmonic Entangled Pilot-wave Theory” (HEPT). In accordance with the GM-scale concept, the HEPT studies include auto-recursive wave harmonics, and a coherence/decoherence interplay. The latter theory is based on a math/numerology of ”9”, known from classical numerology sources, as well as so-called “entangled” wave propagation and a supposed complementarity principle. It was also claimed to provide potential explanations for the acoustics of the CMB background spectrum as well as for the atomic radiation spectrum of Hydrogen. Yet, the proposed cosmic background origin of HEPT seems flawed since the 9 waves of the CMB acoustic spectrum donot show full harmonic relations, while the Hydrogen spectrum encompasses not 9, but at least 12 frequencies. Rather, the Hydrogen atom, with its 12 resonating electron wave frequencies is shown to be compatible with the octave-like pattern of 12 frequency of the Semi-Harmonic GM-code. It is shown that in comparison with the HEPT pattern, the GM-code can accommodate 3 to 4 spatial dimensions and soliton fluxes described by toroidal geometry, as well as a Fibonacci-type of wave termination, enabling crucial wave damping and tone separation. The GM- EMF wave pattern, apart from exhibiting a core series of 12 EMF frequencies, exhibits a fractal nature, implying a series of more than 500 EMF frequencies from the Hz to the GHz ranges, thus exhibiting a field-like character. In this paper, we report on a series of 17 experimentally determined ZPE-frequencies, reported in nine separate studies of others, that fit the GM-scale eigenvalues closely. It is speculated that the series of frequencies of HEPT and GM-scale code both could reflect primordial math-operators that, in a cosmic setting, select information from the zero-point energy (ZPE)-field. The central message of the here treated entangled wave studies encompasses a cosmic connectivity operating in a primordial context, that is likely mirrored in life processes, including the human brain. This yields a harmonically guided instrument for the crucial modalities of scale-invariant consciousness and causal self-observance of our universe. Finally, the cyclic operating fabric of reality, on basis of the semi-Harmonic GM-scale and HEPT concepts, is pictured in a final comprehensive scheme.

We submit a generalized interpretation of quantum physics on the basis of resolution of quantum indeterminacy, emerging from an integral and simultaneous change of physical relationships at the Planck scale. This model postulates "space-time instants of now" framed by us as "blinks of change" in the physical world. These "instants of now" can only be conceived as permanent conscious moments if they attain sufficient novelty and are regarded by us to be the basic building blocks of scale-invariant consciousness and the fabric of reality. We postulate that a transactional wave interaction of local and nonlocal information occurs within a discrete timeframe between each prior and subsequent "instant of now". The "Standard Reference Frame", created according to our premise, generates a general aspect of quantum entanglement in the universe, thereby providing nonlocal relations that affect all physical change. The proposed quantum physical model not only provides a basis for resolution of quantum uncertainty by causal self-observation of the universe, it also explains the existence of universal consciousness and puts the very nature of time and cause-effect relationships in a new perspective. The concept is conceived as a basic ontology for our cosmos, from which many of the current physical theories for mind/matter reality can be directly derived. It thereby offers insight into the well-known "implicate and explicate order" interpretation of David Bohm as well as the concept of "actual occasions" of Alfred North Whitehead. Our concept bears some similarities with Cramer's Transactional Interpretation of Quantum Physics, but partially differs from a recent hypothesis postulated by Lee Smolin on the nature of Qualia. Importantly, our concept requires a recurrent wave modality that returns to itself that generates an intrinsic aspect of entanglement. This ensures a self-referential information flux that can be fully accommodated by toroidal geometry and intrinsically integrates the aspect of universal consciousness. The toroidal geometry that is implied, allows the access to a 4 th spatial dimension that may reflect a sub-Planckian domain of mathematical relations and geometric forms (phase space), functioning as an implicate order. We believe that the present novel interpretation of quantum physics invites relevant views on individual consciousness of living organisms and their interconnection via cosmic musical master-code.

Individual consciousness is considered as an expression of an underlying, non-local, quantum field, that exhibits holographic properties. This paper pays special attention to the interfacing of this field of universal consciousness and our personal brain in relation to potential afterlife. We postulate a toroidal event horizon workspace of the brain that allows symmetric 4-D to 3-D quantum information flux and holographic 2-D personal memory integration. The geometry of a 3-D brain being embedded in a 4-D realm may explain the phenomena of functional brain binding, qualia, intuition, serendipity, synchronicity, extra-sensory perception, and well-established Psi-phenomena. Brain function is conceptualized as guided by zero-point energy field (ZPE) derived pilot waves that support consciousness also in the absence of neuronal activity, such as in near death experiences (NDE). Its toroidal organization exhibits quaternionic dynamics and thereby allows an opening to 4-D geometry and thus to universal consciousness and ZPE. This personal holographic workspace, that is associated but not reducible to the brain, collects active information in a 2-D "brain event horizon", an internal and fully integral model of the self. At death of the material body, this personal knowledge mental domain uncouples from the body, yet it is conserved because quantum information can never be destroyed. In NDE this uncoupling is only temporal but reveals universal consciousness in a fully transparent manner, since in this condition non-neuronal information processing is maintained by fractal semi-harmonic frequencies from ZPE that reflect an entangled personal register of each conscious being. The proposed concept, therefore contradicts the tentative, promissory materialist solution to the mind-body problem. Instead, it substantiates the notion that brain can act as a kind of 'receiver' by filtering of (sub)conscious states, through holographic resonance of universal consciousness with specific coherent oscillation domains in the body. Yet, it is recognized that our self-consciousness can also act as a damping filter for information from this universal knowledge field. The latter aspect of a " dual filter theory" is apparently removed at states of modified brain function such as NDE, deep meditation and use of psycho-mimetic drugs, that expose us to an unknown cosmic perspective. The presence of a mental field-receptive resonant workspace, might be termed our "supervening double", (or "soul", not implying religious doctrine), and provides an interpretation framework for widely reported, but poorly understood transpersonal conscious states. It even implies that death should not be seen as a transition to another state of existence, but rather that all of us are already belong to such an eternal domain in our present life. This paper addresses the question whether superconductive phenomena in superconductive materials and in life systems have common physical grounds. An extensive literature survey was performed with regard to intrinsic energy gap frequencies reported on a range of superconductor materials as measured by different spectroscopic technologies. The registered frequencies were plotted on an acoustic scale and compared with earlier detected EM frequency patterns revealed in various life systems. A meta-analysis showed that the particular wave frequency patterns in superconducting materials have discrete coherent frequency bands and are very much in line with those found in biological systems. We hypothesize that the revealed individual frequencies either alone or in combination provide a means to select or identify materials that exhibit superconductive properties at elevated critical temperature ranges. We propose that the spectral energy gaps of superconducting materials can be positioned at the pointer states of a pattern of coherent frequencies, and can be described by an acoustic algorithm, coined by us the GM-biophysical principle. High Temperature Superconductors (HTSC's) show patterns of frequencies, in which frequency ratios of 2:3 (third harmonic) are incorporated in ratios of 1:2 (fundamental frequency). We propose to apply semi-conductive smectites (phyllosilicates), studied in detail by us earlier, that radiate GM-like EMF frequencies, in combination with HTC superconductor materials, to further improve superconductive properties as a modality of intrinsic quantum lasing. Our observations highlight a potential quantum bridge between superconducting properties in physics and biology.

In this mini-review we describe our recent work, summarizing 13 publications, integrating their concepts and picturing potential perspectives. The history of the discovery of the generalized music (GM)-scale is highlighted in relation to the areas of bio-field research and quantum biology. The central message is that nature may be guided by a discrete pattern of electromagnetic frequencies, as expressed in photon/electron (polariton) and phonon/electron (polaron or soliton) activities. This guiding is based upon a physical coherence principle that is coupled to entanglement, acts in a local and non-local way, and is embedded in a toroidal geometry. We performed meta-analysis studies on biomedical, cancer and neurological literature, revealing the discrete EMF frequency pattern in a consistent manner. This novel biophysical principle exhibits a mathematical background and was also applied to brain function (consciousness research) and 3-dimensional protein folding in integrates cells. Strikingly, this life algorithm could also be detected in various non-animate systems. Among others we discovered a very similar pattern such as energy/frequency distributions in entanglement (EPR) experiments, frequencies of the currently known elementary particles in the standard model as well as in frequency patterns of spectral energy gaps that promote superconducting properties. The latter aspect provides an interesting bridge between life systems and pure physical phenomena. Finally some potential applications in quantum computing and health technology are treated on the basis of a toroidal model approach.

An attempt is made to model the structure of science and art discovery processes in the light of currently defined ideas on the societal flow of knowledge and conservation of information, using the versatile physical concept of toroidal geometry. This should be seen as a heuristic model that is open for further development and evolution. The scientific process, has been often described as a iterative and/or recurrent process. Current models explain the generation of new knowledge on the basis of a number of sequential steps (activities) operating in a circular mode. This model intrinsically assumes this process to be congruent for all individual scientific efforts. Yet, such a model is obviously inadequate to fully describe the whole integral process of scientific discovery as an ongoing interactive process, performed in a cumulative fashion. This implies that any new cycle starts from a different perspective or, optimistically seen, is initiated from a higher level, in a spiral mode, that takes into account the ongoing rise of scientific perspectives. Also, any model that attempts to picture the scientific process, should include potential interactions of concepts or hypotheses, in the sense that concurrently developed concepts may (mutually) influence each other and even may be mixed or superposed or, alternatively, may even result in concept extinction. Science and art progression , both seen as an individual effort and as a historically-based flow of events, is inherently a non-linear or even sometimes a chaotic process, where quite suddenly arising visions can cast a very different light on mainstream scientific thought and/or seem to remove existing barriers in more traditional " habits of the mind ". In contrast to the rather gradual evolution of science, the history of art sometimes even shows complete rejection of preceding concep-tualizations and styles. Carcinogenesis fits in a frequency pattern of electromagnetic field (EMF) waves, in which a gradual loss of cellular organization occurs. Such generation of cancer features can be inhibited by adequate exposure to coherent electromagnetic frequencies. However, cancer can also be initiated and promoted at other distinct frequencies of electromagnetic waves. Both observations were revealed by analyzing 100 different EMF frequency data reported in a meta-analyses of 123 different, earlier published, biomedical studies. The studied EM frequencies showed a fractal pattern of 12 beneficial (anti-cancer) frequencies, and 12 detrimental (cancer promoting) frequencies, that form the central pattern of a much wider self-similar EMF spectrum of cancer inhibiting or promoting activities. Inhibiting of the cancer process, and even curing of the disease, can thus be considered through exposure to the coherent type of EM fields. Stabilization of the disease can be understood by constructive resonance of macromolecules in the cancer cell with the externally appied coherent EMF field frequencies, called solitons/polarons. The latter, for instance, have been shown earlier to induce repair in DNA/RNA conformation and/or epigenetic changes. The field of EMF treatment of cancer disorders is rapidly expanding and our studies may invite further experimental and clinical studies in which systematically various potential EMF treatment protocols could be applied, with combined and modulated frequencies, to obtain even more efficient EMF anti-cancer therapies.

The current protein folding literature is reviewed. Two main approaches to the problem of folding were selected for this review: geometrical and biophysical. The geometrical approach allows the formulation of topological restrictions on folding, that are usually not taken into account in the construction of physical models. In particular, the topological constraints do not allow the known funnel-like energy landscape modeling, although most common methods of resolving the paradox are based on this method. The very paradox is based on the fact that complex molecules must reach their native con-formations (complexes that result from reactions) in an exponentially long time, which clearly contradicts the observed experimental data. In this respect we considered the complexity of the reactions between ligands and proteins. On this general basis, the folding-reaction paradox was reformulated and generalized. We conclude that prospects for solving the paradox should be associated with incorporating a topology aspect in biophysical models of protein folding, through the construction of hybrid models. However, such models should explicitly include long-range force fields and local cell biological conditions , such as structured water complexes and photon/phonon/soliton waves, ordered in discrete frequency bands. In this framework, collective and coherent oscillations in, and between, macromolecules are instrumental in inducing intra-and intercellular resonance, serving as an integral guiding network of life communication: the electrome aspect of the cell. Yet, to identify the actual mechanisms underlying the bonds between molecules (atoms), it will be necessary to perform dedicated experiments to more definitely solve the particular time paradox.
