Apple launched the AirPods Pro second-generation earlier this year. The new Apple AirPods Pro 2 was launched at the iPhone 14 launch event in September. Apple’s most premium TWS sports the same design as the outgoing model. The charging case did get some minor tweaks here and there. Apple claimed that the AirPods Pro second-generation will offer improved battery life over the outgoing model.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 Battery Size
The new Apple AirPods Pro 2 claim to offer improved battery life over the original model. The battery capacity of the TWS has been revealed via 3C. The 3C listing revealed that each earbud of the AirPods Pro packs a 49.7mAh battery. The TWS battery has the model numbers A2731 and A2729.
In addition to the earbuds, the 3C listing also confirmed the charging case’s battery capacity. The charging case battery listed on the 3C certification website revealed that it has the model number A2798. Apple has packed a 523mAh battery in the new Pro AirPods.
Apple claims that its premium TWS will last up to six hours on a single charge. Furthermore, with the charging case, the total charge on offer goes up to 30 hours.
The new AirPods also come with a new H2 chip, which is claimed to offer up to 2x better noise cancellation, improved spatial audio and transparency mode. Apple has also improved the Spatial Audio experience, which now allows iPhone users to create a personalised profile.
The high-end AirPods also offer new gesture controls, including adjusting the volume. They continue to provide support for switching tracks or answering calls.
