For over 50 years, the Barbie doll has been one of the most popular and beloved toys among children — but that doesn't mean our fascination stops after we're too old to play with them. Case in point: YouTube beauty guru Kandee Johnson's too-good-to-believe Barbie transformation.
From her heavily lined eyes to her bubblegum pink lips, she really nailed it. Curious how she pulled it off? First, check out her "before and after" pic below. Then watch her using several pro-approved beauty tricks in action.
First, Kandee popped in a pair of blue contacts to get Barbie's bright-eyed look.
She then transformed her skin into plastic perfection with primer, foundation, and contouring techniques.
Her eyes become wider-looking once she adds an eyelid crease, light eyeshadow to the lid, pink shading eyeshadow, and white eyeliner.
She gives her eyes even more doll-like definition with liquid eyeliner.
Then, things get really crazy as Kandee draws on large fake eyelashes below her eyes using brown cream eyeliner and a fine angled brush.
For her top lid, Kandee applies mascara and fake lashes, but goes even further with widening her eyes by drawing on huge "eyelashes" above.
She finished off the look with heavy pink lipliner and a blonde wig.
