It's hard to know what you're getting in a repairman, and I've had some work for me that ran all through the spectrum. In looking for someone to repair or replace portions of my fence and posts, I ran across all the glowing reviews for Little Red Truck Home Services and knew Barry was the fellow I wanted to give a quote for my work.
He quickly called back from my message, set a time to meet, and was prompt to come view the work to give a quote. His easygoing, folksy and very pleasant manner coupled with evident knowledge of the kind of work I needed to have done instantly instilled confidence in me that I'd found the right one for the job.
He showed up on time and fully prepared with all the supplies and tools necessary, and set to work. He finished the job even sooner than I had imagined, and when he showed me the result, he showed me he had even done some repair to the door of my pool house that wasn't even part of the original work we had discussed!
I'm so pleased with his work, his demeanor and outstanding customer service that I'm checking around the house and yard for more work to bring him back. I would not hesitate to recommend Barry's services, and have every confidence that his rate is a fair price for excellent work. Give him a call! Barry was referred to me. He contacted me and did a quote. His quote outlined time and materials. We scheduled the work and he showed up on time and got it done that morning.
I plan on using this company on future projects.

I wouldn't even give him a one star. He failed on painting my bathroom and kitchen. He dry-brushed the whole job. The paint is on so thin you can see the white primer through the finish coat. I requested he smooth out a couple small areas near the mirror in the bathroom, nope not one stroke of sanding, he painted right over them.
For his high bid I trusted he would at least do what was ask of him. I couldn't believe it when I went into the kitchen and saw the ceiling wasn't painted and the same was true in the bathroom. I called and ask him to please come back and complete the job and he told me the ceilings weren't included. I said please read the contract that he had written and that I had agreed to.
After he looked at his contact he agreed to come back and fix things. That was a mistake he did even worse after that.
I went ahead and paid him just to get him off my property. He is not a real contractor?
Furthermore if he or anyone disputes my negative rating of his workmanship
I have the proof in my kitchen and bathroom and will let anyone that would care to, come take a look?
I left what he called a finished job as proof.

The Little Red Truck struck again! I have an old, well real old brick BBQ the door rotted away. Barry put in new doors with handles, hinges and magnetic door catches. Makes my Xmas Pizza Oven present look quite a bit better. Note- The painting was done by me under my wife's 'protest' so don't blame the paint look on Barry! Kudos again

Barry came to my home and stated that he could fix several items and quoted me a low ball figure based on those items. Once he arrived, he wasn't able to repair a hole in my ceiling like proposed, wasn't able to change my light switch as proposed and nearly left completely without finishing the adjustment to my cabinets. We completely removed painting some cabinets from his scope of work and even after not having to complete the list of originally proposed items, he stated "I don't change my estimates" and charged the initial price. He wasn't flexible and demanded payment for work he didn't complete. He stated "the wall painting job took longer than expected and my rates went up which I didn't charge you..."

My thought was, you made the quote so please don't come back and say the job took longer than expected and expect me to compensate you. It felt like he overestimated his ability to complete some tasks and low balled his figures to get the job and did the bare minimum once he came to perform the work. Won't be using him again.

Looking for a bed frame for my minivan and little red truck came we spoke he took measurements and Bang, show up with the bed frame ready to mount that took maybe 1 hours plus a good talk over coffee cup.

Barry came by and perfectly straightened our sagging side gates along with shoring up the fence it was attached to. Couldn't be happier.

My wife set up for this gentleman (truly) to come by for about 4 hours on a weekday. We had some pretty odd jobs ( hanging multiple huge TVs. Shelves in the bar. And a few light fixtures which required extensive expertise.
This gentleman (truly) was amazing. His demeanor was exceptionally polite, professional in the utmost sense. He actually stayed longer and the work was exhausting and most likely more complex than he was told. He is a man of his word and never complained. He loves animals (cats and dogs) and they love him. We are a tough bargain when it comes to allowing folks in our home and have been burned with hourly handy people before. I would gladly have this highly skilled gentleman (truly) back for holiday time help or anything large or small!!!

Mr. Barry Rocks! I found him thru Yelp. His reviews are stellar. I hired him to install a custom wood shelf behind my Honda Del Sol seats, a necessary step for car audio-speaker upgrading. Guess what? Turns out he also owns a Del Sol, making me feel from the start that he was perfect for the job. Barry first came to me and carefully estimated the project and was more than accommodative with my budget. He showed up promptly day of and got to work with a variety of impressive cordless power tools. Luck was also on our side that day as most projects have unforseen "wrinkles." But Barry's expertise more than compensated for any such issues. He finished up ahead of schedule leaving me a very satisfied customer. Thank you Barry!
