The U.S. Gulf States Geotourism Council is partnering with the National Geographic Society to showcase the best of the Gulf States through an interactive online guide that will highlight more than 100 tourism sites, events and traditions that capture the culture, history and natural beauty of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.

At no cost, organizations, businesses and residents on the Alabama Gulf Coast can recommend historic, cultural and natural landmarks, events, attractions, businesses, scenic trails, outdoor experiences, artists, storytellers and anything that may help tell the story of coastal Alabama.

Nominations are due to July 15 and can be submitted at www.usgulfcoaststatesgeotourism.com.
