Zum Einfluss von Parteien auf die Staatstätigkeit

Zusammenfassung

Das Kapitel diskutiert, ob und unter welchen Bedingungen es einen Unterschied für die Staatstätigkeit macht, welche Partei an der Regierung beteiligt ist. Zunächst werden zwei mögliche Herleitungen von Parteiendifferenzen vorgestellt, eine über Wählerpräferenzen, eine über die Vorstellungen der Parteimitglieder und der Parteiführung. Anschließend kommen mögliche Einschränkungen von Parteieneffekten in Form des Parteienwettbewerbs, politischer Institutionen und der Globalisierung und Europäisierung zur Sprache. Zuletzt wird ein Überblick über empirische Befunde gegeben.
