Judd Trump 'The Ace'2019 World Snooker ChampionJudd Trump (born 21 August 1989) is an English professional snooker player from Bristol. Judd Trump was English Under-13 and Under-15 champion, and reached the World Under-21 Championship semi-finals at the age of 14. At the same age, Judd Trump became the youngest player ever to make a competitive 147, beating Ronnie O'Sullivan's record from 1991. In the 2010/2011 season, Judd Trump reached his first professional ranking event final at the 2011 China Open. Judd Trump defeated former Masters champion Mark Selby 10–8 to win his first major title, and provisionally climbed into the top 16 of the world rankings. On his way to winning the China Open final, Judd Trump also made his 100th competitive century break. After winning the China Open Judd went to the World Championship and has a famous run to the final which included victories over defending champion Neil Robertson, Martin Gould, Graeme Dott and Ding Junhui before narrowly losing 18-15 to John Higgins in the final. At the 2011 UK Championship he won his first major ranking event in Britain by beating Dominic Dale, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Maguire, Neil Robertson and finally Mark Allen 10-8 in the final.
