We should All be SCREAMING!
Passover, the holiday of freedom is one month away – and it will be 200 days of captivity for the hostages.
The Seventh of October – the day of hell, the Shoa came to Eretz Yisrael.
It was so clear –The invaders, the monsters tore their way through the sand, the fields, the fences, the homes, the kibbutzim. They ripped through the land, they tore the people, shooting and shredding and burning and raping and destroying and snatching… That is the day the Monsters came to Israel, the devils, the creatures of darkness raining down fire and pain.
Since that day, we count our days, not measured in the old ‘Sunday through Saturday’, but in numbers… soon it will be Pesach and we will reach 200 days.
Soon it will be Pesach and we will reach 200 days.
Soon it will be Pesach and we will reach 200 days.
As the days grow in numbers, the number of beasts also increase. The lines, drawn in the desert sand are washed away.
As the numbers of days increase, the distance between us and the hostages grows – and while the boogie men of Gaza still wear the devils’ cloak, our own beasts – not quite dressed in the devils’ cloak, wear his mask. They, our chosen ones, the forgot how they became our chosen. They, our chosen ones – they spit on our half-massacred families, those torn from their homes and those left behind weep without comfort. For it is true. The masks of the politicians have fallen from their twisted faces and the face of the beast is seen despite the suit, the tie, the smile.
And they smile! How dare they smile! How dare they breathe our air, walk our land. They’ve spat in the faces of the worthy, of the true believers in the land, the ones who truly work and fight for the promise of the land. The politicians who continuously bash the ones already broken, those who’ve paid the highest of prices… and then they, these suited lawmakers turned beasts –these beasts, they say, ‘’The Knesset must have spring break…the hostages can wait. The war can continue with every day another, מותר לפרסום…(we are allowed to publish the name of another dead soldier)… You there, go back to your half-massacred family, your widowed soul, child ripped from your arms. Go back to you burnt out homes and your unemployed broken business… Go! Go from my sight!’’
And the darkness continues.
Last week I wanted to shout, today I want to scream. I want to scream, but when I open my mouth – The air is sucked from my body like the echo of an atomic bomb.
What is left? I am like an empty shell.
I will not do as our politicians have done. I will not turn away. I will not abandon my people – the homeless families, the orphaned children. How long must we wait? How long must they suffer?
Who are the evil ones?
As the days turn to weeks, time becomes a creature of darkness. And with the darkness comes the shadiness, anything left of clarity has become streaked with shredded, bloody skin and bowels strewn about the land. I know I am not alone in the feelings of abandonment, of these elected politicians turned beast – the feeling that they have stolen from us what the Gazan monsters left behind, including compassion and respect.
I believe in our people. I believe in us.
The beasts need to go home and lock their doors.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
I believe in our people. I believe in us.
The beasts need to go home and lock their doors.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
We should All be screaming.
