A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of an 80-year-old woman.

Steven Clark, 50, from Bravington Road, Queen’s Park, appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.

The Metropolitan Police Service said they were called to Fourth Avenue, in the early hours of Wednesday March 20. The London Ambulance Service were already in attendance.

Ursula Uhlemann was pronounced deceased and a post-mortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as compression to the neck.

The MPS said her family were being supported by officers.
