How was the lesson? Child 1: Not bad! Teacher has given me a presentation on The Elephant. I am very anxious about the presentation. How would I do it? I have never seen an elephant …… Cousin: It's not a big deal my brother, I had not seen Eiffel Tower in my life, but my presentation was remarkable! It's all about our imagination! How we see a thing in our mind. Just make a picture of elephant and you can give your presentation. Child 1: You couldn't see Eiffel Tower because, with eyesight, you didn't have money to Paris. (smiling and holding the hand of his father) but my father can get me to the zoo. Am I right father? Father: Yes, my child why not. I don't myself know how an elephant looks like. So, I will see it too. Child 2: (a bit sadly and eagerly) Me neither father, can I come with you? Grandpa: I think no one has seen an elephant yet in our family so we all will go to the zoo. Uncle: (curiously and worriedly) But how can we see the animal? we don't have eyes to see that. Cousin: (Enthusiastically) Father our fingers are our eyes. We will touch the animal and feeeeeel. So, get ready to see the elephant! (All happily raise their hands and jump and say hip hip hurrah!) Scene II Setting: (All blind men are in the zoo. Worried and anxious.) In my short tenure at Hamdard Public School as English Teacher of Boys wing Secondary section what I liked the most was, DUAE SAEED, the best Dua after BACHAY KI DUA (lub pay aati hey dua …..) I enjoyed my work and time there a lot. Unfortunately in was not the destiny of mine and the HPS as well to serve the institution for long and to get the services for long! But the memories of that short tenure still illuminate my heart and fill with the pleasure. I missed all the things, my colleagues, students and everything. Besides teaching, my Head Mistress Mrs Nabila Maheen assigned me the duty to edit the work of teachers i.e reports writing, comments writing and writing the letters for academic purpose. In the memory of all those things I have compiled my work in a booklet form. Introduction: This report is being written in response to request from the Principal of HPS who wants to have a review of the syllabus of English Literature VII to modify it towards the betterment. The basic aims of this report are to get suggestions and remove the irrelevant matters. Review of Syllabus: Syllabus of First Term and Second Term are shown under which are to be reviewed.
