As of August 2023, Plant Physiology will now be publishing peer review reports with original research articles. These will be a record of all peer review comments from reviewers and editors, as well as the authors’ response, for each draft of the manuscript. Authors have the option to opt in or out of publishing these reports during the manuscript submission process, but reviewers who agree to review a manuscript should be advised that your comments will be published with the article on the journal website, with the author’s consent. Reviewer anonymity will be strictly maintained.
