he London Review of Books may not be everyone’s cup of tea, a substantial handful of tabloid-size pages without the razzmatazz associated with tabloid newspapers, but its clever writing and literary gossip draw readers everywhere. You don’t have to be British to savor this jumble of letters, pictures, reviews that make humanity more human. Now comes this ap, which I placed on my Fire without any extra cost because I was already a subscriber to the print edition. Now I can read LRB in a handier size and receive updates at once. I like it.

I have had a decades long subscription to London Review of Books. It infuriates me that in order to read this journal on my new Fire you want me to place my subscription through Amazon. Please cancel my subscription to the LRB. I will read in on another device.
