Good for ebooks & abooks, but a miserable interface
As you can gather from other reviews, this allows you to take out books from the library - as long as they are ebooks or audiobooks. It also includes a built-in reader (which i have never used) or you can use the Kindle app installed on you device. Quite slick how that works.The UI is a confusing mess, follows no design guide. Using the app is a little trial & error. You can't request physical books,it has no insight to any hardcopy books you have out or are on hold. It can manage your library card, so you can use it to check out your books. No push notifications for book availability or return dates.If I lack the enthusiasm of some of the reviews (I got a book from the library!!!), it's just that it does what it does well with a poor UI and limited functionality. Using a web browser gives you more insight.

The UI is a confusing mess, follows no design guide. Using the app is a little trial & error. You can't request physical books,it has no insight to any hardcopy books you have out or are on hold. It can manage your library card, so you can use it to check out your books. No push notifications for book availability or return dates.
If I lack the enthusiasm of some of the reviews (I got a book from the library!!!), it's just that it does what it does well with a poor UI and limited functionality. Using a web browser gives you more insight.
