Meet 5 of the best startups selected to represent China at the largest technology event in Asia

This week, nearly 20 startups from across China will be making their way to Hong Kong, showcasing their products and services at Web Summit’s sister event, RISE.

These startups will have the chance to pitch their ideas and demo their products on stage in front of an audience of 16,000, as well as being a part of exclusive one on one meetings with some of the world’s most important investors and big name mentors in the tech space.

Here are 5 of the best startups from the country:

EXPOPROMOTER LTD

Shanghai-based ExpoPromoter is a marketplace for attracting professional attendees and exhibitors to partake in trade shows worldwide.

Madeforgoods

Madeforgoods is a startup from Shanghai with a vision to be the leading solution for brands to directly manage their indirect customers. They aim to build the future in distribution of professional goods in China.

4DAGE

Coming from Zhuhai, 4DAGE is a startup dedicated to the studies and application of artificial intelligence in the field of 3D reconstruction and digitisation algorithms. They have a vision for "digital everything", by bringing digital technologies to everyday people’s everyday lives.

Celaqua

Celaqua, a startup from Zhongshan, has developed a completely sustainable smart-farming solution that is able to produce healthy seafood, disrupting the aquaculture industry in China.

Timekettle Technologies

Timekettle’s vision is to offer translation services with utmost user experience, by utilizing artificial intelligence technology and wearable design. The startup is based in Shenzhen.
