UCLA Global Advisors Council
The UCLA Global Advisors Council (GAC) was created in early 2024 to guide UCLA in expanding its reach as a global university — one of the five major goals of UCLA’s 2023–28 Strategic Plan. The 21-member council held its first meeting in early March 2024 and now meets on a monthly basis.

U7+ Alliance of World Universities urges G7 to increase access to higher education
The U7+ Alliance of World University Leaders recently met in Milan and adopted a statement on increasing global access to higher education. The statement was shared with the Italian minister of university and research as an input into Italy's preparations for hosting the G7 summit in June.
