About Us

Founded in 1873, The Harvard Crimson is the official student newspaper of Harvard University, and the oldest continuously published daily college newspaper in The United States. Countless Crimson alumni have gone on to make history in journalism, business, public service, and politics; distinguishable figures include Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Steve Ballmer, Linda Greenhouse, Jim Cramer, Susan Wojcicki and more.

The Global Programs branch of The Harvard Crimson runs educational programs for high school students centered on journalism, business, and college admissions. Our events, open to students of all experience levels, aim to provide high-quality resources and mentorship students need to recognize their full potential. Through inviting dedicated Crimson editors, notable alumni, industry leaders, and Harvard professors, our programs prepare students with skills critical to future success in all aspects of life.

Join us in our journey of expanding educational opportunities worldwide.

“The conference offered invaluable perspectives...from a multitude of voices in the professional field of journalism. I also found myself becoming far more adept in the plethora of different sectors of work that go into releasing a publication and journaling as a whole!”
