The comment period for the proposed Board of Cardiovascular Medicine is now open. http://spr.ly/6040bQIgQ We believe it’s time for an independent Board that reflects the evolution of cardiology into its own distinct medical specialty. The proposed new Board of Cardiovascular Medicine answers the call from ABMS for a certification process that facilitates “continuous learning and improvement while simultaneously assuring patients that their physicians are up to date in their specialty.”
