Personally, we’re not sure what’s rarer – the snake, or a train in Japan not running on time! ✈️ Australia’s Best Airport Has Been Named! Melbourne Airport has been ranked as Australia’s best airport for the second year in a row at the 2024 Skytrax World Airport Awards. The airport also ranked highly on a global scale, coming in 19th on the prestigious list of the world’s top 100 airports. 🤔 The Unique Ingredient In Sustainable Aviation Fuel! Hungarian Airline, Wizz Air, has struck a deal with a biofuel company to provide up to 525,000 tonnes of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) over 15 years. The SAF is made using a very unique blend of kerosene and human poo sourced from the people of Essex. ☀️ Where To See The Next Solar Eclipse! Last week, millions of people stopped to gaze up at the skies for a total solar eclipse! However, those who weren’t in its path might be left with some FOMO after missing the rare phenomenon. The next total solar eclipse is predicted to occur on 12 August 2026 and is set to appear over Greenland, Iceland, Spain and a small portion of Portugal.

Cruising has been making a real splash over the last few years, with more Aussies setting sail than ever before! So much so, that to keep up with demand, Royal Caribbean has announced that it will debut a new ship – Anthem of the Seas. The cruise line will also be bringing back the Voyager of the Seas, with its new home port set to be Brisbane.

Tokyo claimed both the number one and number two positions thanks to restaurants Sézanne & Florilège. However, despite not having any restaurants in the top five, Singapore had the most restaurants make the list with nine venues making the list. 😳 The Race To Stop Leaning Tower Collapsing! Did you know, Italy has TWO leaning towers? The Torre Garisenda was built in the 12 century, however, started leaning about two centuries later. Late last year, the streets surrounding the Garisenda were sealed off as the building was declared at a “high risk” of collapsing. A plan has since been hatched to save the tower using the same equipment the reinforced that Tower of Pisa! ✈️ Jetstar Relaunches Flights To Osaka! Jetstar has officially relaunched direct flights from Sydney to Osaka with the first service taking off Tuesday morning. The flights marked the first time in 15 years that the airline has flown the popular route. The service will run three times a week. 😂 April Fools! On Monday, Flight Centre announced their brand-new product range – Adult-Free Holidays! Kids could now say goodbye to being dragged from one museum to the next, smiling for photos and being told to be quiet and instead, they could travel the way they wanted.
