In December, NH Business Review named a unique group of 200 people who have made their mark on New Hampshire’s economy, business climate and the state as a whole. They are collectively known as 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑯𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝟐𝟎𝟎! We are delighted to share that Chamber Collaborative President & Chief Collaborator Ben VanCamp (number one in our book) was among those honored last night at a celebration held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. Ben not only helms the Chamber Collaborative, a business network of 700+ organizations in the #PortsmouthNH, but also currently serves as the chair of the Leadership Seacoast Board of Directors, is on the advisory board for Great Bay Community College, and he serves on the City of Portsmouth's Economic Development Commission. He also coaches the Seacoast Senders, an area mountain biking team. (Go, Senders!) Here, Ben, right, is shown with Monte Bohanan, director of communications and community engagement for the City of Portsmouth, and former Board Chair of the Chamber. Monte is also a current member of the Board of Directors for New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR), whose president and CEO Jim Schachter, was also named to the list. Kudos to all! Oh, how we networked and noshed at the March 28 Business After Hours at BankProv in Portsmouth! Thank you to all who made this possible, and all who attended! The year-long series presented by Bank of New Hampshire, takes place the fourth Thursday of the month and features casual networking, some great raffle prizes, and good cheer. We were delighted to hear a few words by BankProv CEO Joe Reilly, and to meet no fewer than 15 BankProv representatives! Among the 160 in attendance were folks ranging from 3S Artspace to Wxrv 92.5 FM the River, with The Music Hall, Portsmouth, NH in between. (Plus, it was great to meet the new kids on the Congress Street block, The Vibe Collective.) One sweet collaboration was the delicious chocolate favors with special BankProv logos created by Kilwins Portsmouth.
