The ever-evolving graduate management education landscape mirrors the dynamism of the business world it prepares its students for. In a new QS report, titled "Business school applicant trends and motivations in 2024", we found that students are seeking more interdisciplinary GME degrees, and pivoting towards non-traditional business subjects. According to the report, the surge in applicants seeking technology-related specialisations "reflects the broader industry consensus that tech-savviness is no longer a niche skill but a fundamental requirement across various business roles." The QS Online MBA Rankings 2024 are now live! 🎉 In this edition, we’ve ranked institutions globally, and segmented the rankings into four geographic regions: North America, Europe (including the Middle East and Africa), and Asia Pacific. Here are some highlights: 📈The top three countries with the most ranked institutions are the US (53), UK (13), and Spain (six). 🌎Lebanese and South African institutions have been ranked, marking the first time ever an African or Middle Eastern business school has featured in the rankings. 5️⃣ Latin America has seen a significant increase in representation this year, with five new business schools added to the rankings. Happy Earth Day!   As a sector, higher education plays a vital role in protecting our planet and creating a more sustainable future - whether it’s through innovative research, carbon neutral campuses, or equipping the next generation with the skills to be environmental stewards. Sustainability impacts student recruitment too. 40% of respondents to the QS International Student Survey 2023 said they’ve actively researched their prospective university’s environmental sustainability strategy.
