The Largest Spherical Uplift Bearings with CE Marking - Due to particular static conditions, the Neue Strom-brücke in Magdeburg was equipped with extraordinary bridge bearings in the course of its rehabilitation. Since alternating tensile and compressive loads have to be transferred on the abutments, oversized constructions with a sophisticated interior and a dead weight of 13 tonnes were required, particularly due to the extreme tensile loads. MAURER’s experts for bridge bearings were competent in this case.
