📣 💡That’s a wrap on the Hybrid #BILT Bridging Event in Como, Italy! Highlights from the final day of sessions: • Empowering vulnerable and marginalized learners through TVET, with a deep-dive into two innovative practices in hospitality and tourism: Cometa’s Mini Master and KOTO - Know One, Teach One’s Her Turn programmes • Demonstration and testing of VR teaching and learning tools in TVET Participants had a chance to visit the Holcim (Italia) SpA cement production unit in Merone to get a first-hand look at the ‘Made in Italy’ approach to vocational education and training. The event also provided a platform for the first BILT Expert Group meeting on building and construction and a UNEVOC Network meeting. Going forward, we invite all Bridging Event participants to build on the shared insights, learning and spirit of collaboration to advance inclusive excellence in #TVET. Day 2 at the #BILT Bridging Event focused on networks & collaboration for inclusive excellence in TVET. The BILT Community Poster Gallery sessions provided useful opportunities for peer learning and knowledge exchange among UNEVOC Centres and other TVET institutions. Participants were able to showcase and learn about #innovative projects, initiatives, tools and research activities related to #inclusion, excellence, #entrepreneurship, hospitality & tourism, and building & construction. 🌟 New publication on skills policies for #resilience 🌟 We're thrilled to announce the launch of a new policy brief titled "Skills Policies for Resilience", jointly published by OECD - OCDE, Cedefop, European Commission, European Training Foundation, International Labour Organization, UNESCO, which explores vital strategies for navigating today's challenging economic landscape. The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent global events have profoundly impacted economies worldwide. Now, with additional pressures like rising energy costs and environmental concerns, countries are facing unprecedented challenges. This brief explores how we can strengthen our skills and labour markets to weather these storms and emerge stronger. Key takeaways: ✅ Resilience through Skills: In a rapidly changing world, skills are fundamental for navigating uncertainties.
