The Utah Education Network is a statewide broadband and broadcast network established by the Utah Legislature in 1989. Based on the number of students served, if UEN were a school district, it would rank third behind New York City and Los Angeles in the scope of services provided. However our services reach well beyond our 612,00 students in public education. We also serve 174,000 higher education students and applied technology students. Add to that more than 64,000 educators and staff K-12 through college. UEN Major services are: • Broadband Infrastructure • Interactive Video Conferencing • Instructional resources for student and teachers • Professional Learning Workshops • UEN-TV UEN proudly supports and is an integral participant in Gov.
