Food systems are important, soo are the partly overlapping landscape, land-use, agroforestry, agriculture, cropping, watershed... systems and key problems etc. The most food insecure and malnourished are the rural poor.
First I should say all these crisis from food shortages to endless conflict are orchestrated by the modern world so call disproportionate gender at work place. Its true food shortage continue to rise as the superpowers continue with their arms trade mixed up with natural disasters. On the other hand the campaign of disproportionate takes it's own task to food shortage rampage. From the 9th century to 18th century there was nothing such as food stage despite that civil wars were still there. For Africans during those centuries though there was tribal conflicts food was in abundance men go hunting for wild animal for meat as an substitute. During their civil wars children and women were absolutely untouchable massacred as it is today. Nonetheless, genocide was something learned from white European, though it was copied by few African leaders but it was shameful.
it is a great regret that we know the problem, we know the solutions but we are failed.. Crisis,money inflation, natural disasters behind all those things somehow we are actually liable
